Dr Clare Eastwood
Our Speech Pathologist
Dr Clare Eastwood is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and the director of Southern Sydney Voice Therapy. She graduated with first class honours from The University Sydney in 2012 where she later completed her PhD research on the treatment of muscle tension voice disorders in 2021.
Clinical care approachClare aims to provide high quality voice care within an encouraging and supportive environment. Intervention provided is based on research evidence and tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. Clare believes in collaborating closely with her clients, their family and/or their significant others as well as other health and medical practitioners in order to achieve optimal therapeutic results.

Dedication to education and ongoing professional growth
Clare currently lectures at Western Sydney University where she enjoys teaching Speech Pathology students in the area of voice and voice disorders. She continues to support her continuing education through memberships with Speech Pathology Australia, the Australian Voice Association, the Laryngology Society of Australasia and the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health. She has undergone training in programs such as VoiceCraft, Accent Method, Adventures in Voice, PhoRTE and myofascial release of the jaw and neck. She is also certified to provide the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) for Parkinson Disease.
